What PVPC Global is

PVPC Global is a specialist trade exhibition and technical summit for the flow equipment industry: the pumps, valves, pipes, compressors and associated systems that move, control, measure and seal fluids and gases in process plants.

Across eight exhibitor categories, manufacturers, distributors, agents and service companies present their ranges to the engineers, plant teams and procurement professionals who specify and buy this equipment for oil and gas, petrochemicals, water and desalination, power and utilities, manufacturing, mining and infrastructure.

This is not a general trade fair. Every exhibitor on the floor sells flow equipment or the services behind it, every session in the summit is about running that equipment better, and every visitor is there because flow systems are part of their job.

The fifth edition

PVPC Global is now in its fifth edition. Across its previous editions, the show has established itself with the region's flow technology manufacturers, distributors, agents and plant buyers, and the fifth edition brings that community together at Dhahran Expo at the scale the Saudi market demands.

One platform, three events

PVPC Global covers pumps, valves, pipes, compressors and the flow technology industry around them. Refrigeration Expo, co-located on the same dates, covers industrial and commercial refrigeration, process cooling and cold chain. GEZS, the Global Economic Zones Leaders Summit, brings the investment and industrial policy conversation into the same three days. Exhibitors meet their buyers across a connected industrial platform, with access arrangements between the events to be confirmed by the organiser.

The venue and organiser

Venue: Dhahran Expo is the Eastern Province's purpose-built exhibition centre, serving Dammam, Al Khobar and Dhahran, with the Jubail industrial corridor to the north and the desalination coast alongside. It places PVPC Global inside the province it serves, close to the plants, projects and plant communities its visitors work in.

The PVPC Technical Summit is accepting abstract submissions from operators, manufacturers, EPC contractors, researchers and service companies, across all four conference themes. Accepted papers are presented at Dhahran Expo in September 2027, in front of the engineers who operate the region's plants.

What we are looking for

Original technical work with results: equipment performance data, operator case studies, failure investigations, upgrade and retrofit outcomes, and applied research with plant-level relevance. Papers are selected for engineering substance. Product promotion dressed as a paper will be declined, and the audience will know the difference anyway.

The strongest papers at industrial conferences share three things: a real problem, a defensible method, and numbers. Bring those.

How review works

Abstracts are reviewed on a rolling basis as they arrive, and submissions stay open until each theme programme is complete. Early submission is advised; completed programmes close. Every abstract is assessed against three tests: originality, evidence, and relevance to the region's operating plants. Authors are told the outcome of their review directly, and accepted authors receive presenter information and session scheduling well before the show.

PVPC workshops are certified technical classroom sessions where delegates learn directly from specialists, work through real engineering challenges and build practical knowledge they can take back to their plants. This is the deepest learning format at the exhibition, and the deepest engagement format for the companies that run them.

PVPC Excellence Awards

Recognition for flow technology that proves itself

The proposed PVPC Excellence Awards programme will recognise innovation and proven performance in the flow equipment industry: products, systems and operating achievements measured through efficiency, reliability, safety and lifecycle cost.

The programme is being finalised. Proposed judging will prioritise operating results, test data and the quality of the engineering case. Final categories, eligibility, judging criteria and presentation arrangements will be published once confirmed.

Who can enter and how to enter

Final eligibility is being confirmed. The proposed programme is intended for companies and operating organisations with products, systems or projects relevant to the flow equipment industry served by the exhibition.

Complete the entry form with your category, the product, system or project you are entering, and the evidence behind it. Judges look for operating results first: measured performance, verified savings, failure rates, service life. Test data and customer references strengthen an entry; brochures do not.

Judging

Entries are judged by a panel of juries, industry leaders, senior engineers drawn from operating companies, EPC contractors and independent specialists, against published criteria: evidence of performance, engineering quality, relevance to the region's operating conditions, and the strength of the results.
